“My Life as a Micro-Artist” A power point presentation talk by Graham Short. Graham is a talented micro artist who has been on many TV shows for his in creditable work. His achievements include engraving along the cutting edge of a traditional razor blade and engraving the Lord’s Prayer on a gold pin. His engravings have become desirable and collectable pieces.

Dr. Doug Richardson returns to talk to us about running on ice.
Doug will describe his experiences when running half marathons in three of the coldest places on Earth: Siberia, the polar ice-cap in Greenland and Antarctica. The talk will focus not only on the running, but also the preparation needed to run in such isolated places and also the journeys there and back. The talk will be illustrated with photographs and videos of the scenery and also of the native wildlife.

The castle is known for its beautiful gardens and is set in the beautiful area of Welshpool. There’s plenty to see and do. Jenner House Museum: Church Lane, Berkeley, GL13 9BN. The pioneering scientist of Gloucestershire who invented the vaccination for Smallpox that saved lives - Edward Jenner. Your visit will allow you to self-guide yourself around the house and wander in the lovely garden, the vaccine temple and the physic garden. There is a lovely church very close to Dr. Jenners is worth a visit and Berkeley castle is in walking distant. If the weather is nice we are allow to have a picnic in the garden.

Dr. Doug Richardson returns to talk to us about running on ice.
Doug will describe his experiences when running half marathons in three of the coldest places on Earth: Siberia, the polar ice-cap in Greenland and Antarctica. The talk will focus not only on the running, but also the preparation needed to run in such isolated places and also the journeys there and back. The talk will be illustrated with photographs and videos of the scenery and also of the native wildlife.

National Trust-Powis Castle and Garden. Powis Castle is a medieval castle which is owned by the Herbert family. The castle is known for its beautiful gardens and is set in the beautiful area of Welshpool. There’s plenty to see and do. Wander around the gorgeous gardens, Clive museum, visit the castle and state rooms with over 400 years of fine collections of paintings tapestries etc., There is a number of eateries where you can have a bite to eat.

Jenner House Museum: Church Lane, Berkeley, GL13 9BN. The pioneering scientist of Gloucestershire who invented the vaccination for Smallpox that saved lives - Edward Jenner. Your visit will allow you to self-guide yourself around the house and wander in the lovely garden, the vaccine temple and the physic garden. There is a lovely church very close to Dr. Jenners is worth a visit and Berkeley castle is in walking distant. If the weather is nice we are allow to have a picnic in the garden.
The castle is £14 entry.
